The IPVanish software uses port 443 Both PPTP and L2TP need the PPTP & L2TP pass-through options in the firewall/router's management interface to be enabled (if applicable). To allow PPTP traffic, open TCP port 1723 To allow L2TP w/ IPSec traffic, open UDP ports 500, 1701 & 4500
Use the web based portal to check your logins are working. For leveraging the Azure AD directly, I havent see this noted as supported by sonicwall and I would not be sending LDAP traffic out the internet (even if you have TLS enabled) unless its in an ipsec vpn tunnel. LAN address is 10.17.11.0/24 and SSLVPN Pool is the range 10.17.11.70-79. I can't change it right now because there are connected clients working just fine. The range does not overlap with the normal DHCP range which is 10.17.11.100-199.
May 29, 2015 · Hackers are trying to get to the server via a standard accessible protocols (PTPP VPN port 1723), and then then using automated tools to try to guess the password to allow access. This puts a load on the server and requires a blocking of the attacking IP address at the firewall to protect things. It’s not ideal, that’s for sure.
